Registration Details

As in the past XP Day is likely to be over subscribed. Given that it is a free event where many industry leaders are attending, it is anticipated that it will be heavily oversubscribed. Anyone who accepts a place and then does not attend will be denying someone else the opportunity to attend. We have decided to charge for non attendance ( details below ).

As the event is likely to be oversubscribed, we need some way of chosing who should attend.

As well as subscribing to the event on this site, you should also enter a short paragraph as to why you should attend here. These short paragraphs will be reviewed by the XP organising committee to help in the selection process.

Registration for XP Day closes on Sunday 17th October.

You will be notified whether you are accepted on Sunday 31st October

If you are accepted to attend, you will need to send a cheque for £75 to the XP Organisers. In the event that you do not attend, this cheque will be cashed. The cheque will be torn up when you arrive at the event. This will not be applicable to those outside of the UK.

The eXtreme Tuesday Club are proud to present the 11th XP Day in London, England.

Agile is no longer a niche development approach. Agile is now mainstream with industry leaders like IBM and Google adopting it. XPDay has evolved away from its roots as a place where people come to learn about basic Agile practices to a conference that brings together leading practitioners so that they can learn from their peers, and help develop the next generation of practices. Now that all participants are expected to provide content and learning, the decision has been taken to provide the event for free.

Following on from the success of OpenVolcano, XP Day will be predominantly an Open Space conference. However, given the importance of actual practitioner experience to Agile, there will be a track of "experience reports" throughout the conference. These experience reports will be selected by the XP Day committee prior to the conference. You can submit an experience report here.

The closing date for submitting experience reports is Sunday 17th October.

Regards

The eXtreme Tuesday Club
